I used the Dec. SMAK kit
(oh how I love that feather)

Today I have a fun home decor
item to share with you using the

I stamped the sentiment in Archival ink

Inspiration Wednesday is all purple and blue

Happy Wednesday!
I love when it is my turn on the blog on this day
I'm big on finding inspiration to help me in my crafting
whether it is a sketch, a colour or an item that creates a spark
and you never know just where this inspiration will come from!

I have to admit the Unity Challenge ALWAYS gets me inspired
It is one of the first places I go to
And this month the purples and blue set my heart aflutter!

I went right to this month's KOTM- Magic of Beginnings

I dug out my clear embossing powder, pan pastels and distress inks
Then added white embossing powder, flowers and bling
What do you think?
I like how it turned out!

Come play along with us- there is still time!

Happy Crafting!

Growing in Unity

Hey there it's Wednesday and time for another GIU gal!  But first let's announce our winner from the first GIU BLOG HOP!

The winner is Gail from Crafty Nomad! Congrats! Gail please contact to claim your prize!

Let's get on to this week's fabulous GIU gal!  Let's welcome Terri!

Meet Terri:

Here is a little something about Terri:

"Hey everyone, Terri here from Waving My Wand.  I'm so happy to be the GIU girl this week!  I'm a busy girl, juggling work, my family and the love of crafting.   I'm also co-founder and designer on Mountain Plains Crafters, a fun, crafty challenge site, of which Unity Stamps
is a sponsor!  I love to do freelance blogging and last summer, I had the thrill of being the Guest Blogger and Show Photographer of the Craft and Hobby Association Paper Arts 2014 trade show.  I dabble in all sorts of crafting but card making would be my first love and Unity
is my first "stamp" love.  I've got quite the stash and have been a fan of Unity for years. Thanks for having me this week!"

Check out this wonderful project Terri has to share this week:

Be sure to swing on by Terri's blog each day this week for Unity inspiration and a chance to win some Unity stamps!

Hello gorgeous.

Yes, YOU!

Quit looking behind you. I'm talking to the amazing, beautiful, wonderful person staring at the screen right now.

I recently had a conversation with a very good friend of mine. In thinking about it later, I summed it up with this:

"She saw the world a little different than most folks. She had an eye for beauty... the true tragedy was, she could see it in everything but herself."

Sometimes we all need a little reminder.

Sometimes we can be REALLY hard on ourselves. Some times we look at our reflection and can't see past the supposed "flaws". Sometimes we look at our lives and only see where we feel we have fallen short. Sometimes we look at our talents and dismiss them because we somehow don't "measure up" to some ideal we have in our own heads.

I do it to myself ALL. THE. TIME.

So for each and every one of you who woke up this morning, and couldn't see the BEAUTY shining from your SOUL, here's a little reminder from me to you....

And speaking of all of you beautiful people... Did you know that, not only can YOU share your amazing talents with us here at Unity both through the blog (FWF & the challenge) and Facebook, we DO look at them! We LOVE seeing what you do with our stamps!

Mary Anne Kelemen recently shared this on FB. I love the simple distressed color with the embossing! Fabulous! Check her work out HERE!

Thank you for sharing a piece of your beautiful soul with us Mary Anne.

And thank you to EVERY ONE OF YOU who share. You are all an inspiration!

Never forget how beautiful you are, and never stop sharing your LIGHT with the world!

Happy Friends with Flair!

Welcome back to another fantastic Friends with Flair! Did you know last week we had 47 (FORTY-SEVEN!) link ups?!! That's amazing! This week we're shooting for 50 and hope you'll join in!

Today's card was loosely based on the current Unity Be Inspired Sketch Challenge.  I used stamps from the January Kit of the Month. The best thing about this card? It took 10 minutes to make from start to finish! The lace is stamped in gold and the sentiment is embossed in black. I added a few rhinestones and this baby is done!

Be sure to shop the winter garage sale at Unity!

Now it's your turn to link up. I have a challenge for you all... Create something for the current Be Inspired Challenge!!
